The elegance and passion of Spain’s dance, music and culture is showcased in the 35th American Spanish Dance and Music Festival till Sunday, June 26. Each year this popular Festival attracts thousands of cultural fans from around the world to experience “Spain in America.” The celebration culminates with three crowd-pleasing critically acclaimed “Flamenco Passion” performances at the North Shore Center for the performing Arts in Skokie, June 24 – June 26. In honor of the company’s 35th anniversary the program will feature an array of historic masterworks by Dame Libby Komaiko and guest artists from the 70s, 80s and 90s to the present.
