Project C.U.R.E and Consul of Mexico Receive Honor

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - BusinessSeveral dozen Consuls General from various countries including, Belize, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Honduras, Poland, and Tanzania gathered joined 200 Chicago business leaders and philanthropists on Tuesday, Sept. 13 as MillerCoors hosted the launch party for Project C.U.R.E.’s new Chicago distribution center. PROJECT C.U.R.E., the leading NGO provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics in developing countries, will soon open its newest distribution center in Chicago. This marks the organization’s fifth distribution center in the U.S. MillerCoors also welcomed Eduardo Arnal, the newly appointed Consul General Mexico. “I would like to congratulate Project C.U.R.E for this new endeavor and thank them, on behalf of the Mexican people, for their invaluable and continuous support providing a better and long-lasting life to those in need,” said Arnal who was appointed by President Felipe Calderon. Consul Arnal holds a degree in law from the University of Pedregal in Mexico City.
