The Chicago Public Library welcomes Tony Mantuano, the award-winning and celebrated chef/partner of the world renowned restaurant Spiaggia, to discuss and sign the new updated and revised edition of The Silver Spoon, one of the most iconic and bestselling Italian cookbooks, to which Chef Mantuano has added his own menus. Additionally, Mantuano’s wife, co-author and wine expert Cathy Mantuano will be on hand to discuss their celebrated cookbook Wine Bar Food. The free event takes place on Monday, Dec. 12, at 6pm., in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium (Lower Level) at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State St. No registration is required for this event. However, seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
