Following Santa Fe Community College’s announcement that current Morton College President Dr. Leslie Navarro is a top-three finalist in that school’s search for their next college president, the Morton College Board released the following statement:

“We want to congratulate Leslie Navarro on achieving consideration as a top-three finalist for the presidency of Santa Fe Community College. When the board was informed recently that she was a candidate we already knew she would excel in their selection process. If she is selected, what will be our loss will most certainly be Santa Fe’s gain.

“The Morton College Board, and the entire Morton College community, wants to wish her the best of luck as Santa Fe Community College’s process for selecting their school’s next president progresses towards a final selection.”

“No matter what happens, we want to wish Dr. Navarro all the best in her
future endeavors.”
