President and CEO of Instituto del Progreso Latino Juan Salgado was re-appointed Tuesday to the Chicago Park District Board of Commissions. “I am committed to bringing a variety of strong voices from different neighborhoods and communities to the Chicago Park District Board,” said Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Salgado is a member of the Chicago Manufacturing Renaissance Council Executive Board, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and Leadership Greater Chicago Board of Directors, and the Adler School of Professional Psychology Board of Trustees. Salgado is being reappointed for a term that expires in June 2017. “Juan’s broad experience will continue to have a positive impact on the Park District,” said Emanuel.
