A new Spanish-language variety show, called “Le Entramos de Noche/ “We Enter at Night,” is set to makes its debut in Chicago and co-host Priscilla Torres feels nothing but excitement. “I cannot wait for Saturday’s debut,” said Torres, who phoned Lawndale Bilingual Newspaper to talk about the new show. “This is a great opportunity for us to highlight our community and showcase celebrities, local artists, and the wonderful diversity here in Chicago.”
Chicago will serve as the backdrop to the one-hour late night variety show, which promises to bring big laughs and lots of talent. The show will open with brief monologues from co-hosts Priscilla Torres, Cesar Galvan, the show’s originator, Betzaida Ramirez, and Patty Aguilera, followed by pre-recorded segments and audience participation. Some of the show’s episodes will solely be devoted to celebrity interviews, with guests ranging from actors to musicians to media personalities.
“Chicago has never seen anything like this before,” said Torres. “We need to make the country realize that there is a vibrant Hispanic market, here. It’s not just in New York, Los Angeles or Miami that have a strong Hispanic community, you feel it here in Chicago, too and our show represents that. There are so many talented Latinos here in the city and this show is a great platform to bring them on.”
“Le Entramos de Noche/ “We Enter at Night” will air on Saturday nights at 10p.m., beginning May 25th on the Mundo Fox network. “We hope Chicago loves the show and we hope to make our Latinos proud!” Mundo Fox can be seen on the following media outlets; AT&T Cable Channel 13, Comcast Channel 388, and Channel 13.1 on regular television airwaves.
