Now is the time to register for the Fall 2013 semester at City Colleges of Chicago before the first day of class begins August 26. City Colleges of Chicago offers a wide-range of quality, affordable educational options from certificate and associate degree programs to English as a Second Language and GED high school equivalency instruction.
Registration is now available for the new Weekend College, launching in the Fall 2013. Open to any college-ready student with no prior college credits, Weekend College allows students to earn an associate of arts degree in five semesters while taking classes at Kennedy-King College on Friday evenings and Saturdays as part of an accelerated, full-time course load pathway.
City Colleges of Chicago offers programs to meet the needs of all students, including:
- Associate of arts (A.A.) and associate of science (A.S.) degrees that transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
- Associate of applied science degrees (A.A.S.) and certificates that prepare students to immediately enter the workforce in high-demand careers.
- Free GED (high school equivalency) courses and free English as a Second Language courses. These adult education classes are conveniently offered at 70 neighborhood-based off-site instruction locations around the city. They are scheduled on evenings and weekends, and are also online.
