Located at 3271 S. Harlem Ave., Connie’s Family Restaurant & Cocktails recently opened its expanded event and party room. Connie’s partnered with the City of Berwyn and The Berwyn Development Corporation to make this expansion possible.

These new party rooms increase guest capacity to 90, and the lounge includes five video game machines. This expansion can now accommodate larger events such as family reunions, showers and funerals and even business meetings.

Restaurant the Sotiropoulos family continues to be a destination for families and friends since its early beginnings in 1944. The Sotiropoulos family’s found success in operating a small business because they satisfy customers with quality meals made with love.

“For almost seventy years, we’ve stayed the same but we’re also different,” Andy Sotiropoulos said. “We are your home away from home. Connie’s will always be Connie’s, but it’s important to us to meet the needs of the community by expanding our great dining options and services.”

Berwyn Mayor Robert Lovero also shared his appreciation for the restaurant establishment.

“We enjoy your place because you do feel like home and customers are treated like family.” Mayor Lovero said. “You did a terrific job on your expansion and continue to be a staple in the community.”

Connie’s Family Restaurant & Cocktails serves up a variety of made-to-order family favorites 365 days per year. It also offers carry-out, catering and in-house banquet services. Business hours are Monday-Sunday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
