Metra’s Office of Business Diversity and Civil Rights will host a free workshop for small, minority, and women-owned businesses on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The DBE workshop will be held at Metra headquarters located at 547 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, 2nd Floor. This workshop, “I’m Certified, Now What?” was developed to help certified businesses maximize their certification to achieve their business goals.

Certified firms attending this workshop will receive a better understanding of the bidding process, how to conduct effective research, simple ways to market their business and how to work with prime contractors and maintain their certification.
