On a sunny Saturday morning, thousands of Comcast employees lent their time and services to providing a day of beautification at various nonprofit organizations across the city. As part of Comcast Cares Day, employees and their families served organizations such as, Association House of Chicago, Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC), Erie Neighborhood House, and Corazon Community Services. Everyone involved took part in a half-day of cleaning up, planting trees, and painting walls. Comcast Cares Day is one of the major initiative’s Comcast takes pride in holding annually. Now in its tenth year, approximately, 7,000 regional employees participated over the years in such areas as, Quincy, IL, South Bend, IN, and in Rockford, IL.
