Car Outlet and The National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) are inviting students from all over the Chicago area in grades 1-12 to participate in a new calendar art contest. Students interested in participating have until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 to submit their original artwork and printed application to any of Car Outlet location or the NMMA in Pilsen. The artwork of the finalists and winners will be on display at the NMMA at a special event this fall and at several Car Outlet locations in and around Chicago. Additionally, the finalist’s artwork will be featured in Car Outlet’s 2015 Driving Success printed calendar and other prizes will be awarded to the qualifiers. Calendars will be distributed free of charge throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. A letter will be postmarked by Saturday, Nov. 15 to notify winners of their achievements.
