Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF) announced that BMO Harris Bank’s $150,000 pledge of support to the Buy A Mom A Mammogram® program expansion at Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago.

ASLF’s Buy A Mom A Mammogram® (BAMAM) program eliminates cost as a barrier to breast health services by providing funding to hospital partners to support the delivery of free screening mammograms, diagnostic evaluation and follow-up testing when indicated. Saint Anthony Hospital, a community hospital, has been a partner of ASLF since February 2013, and completes more than 200 mammograms a month. For more than a century, Saint Anthony Hospital has provided medical care, social services, and community outreach to the residents of eight city neighborhoods: Little Village, North Lawndale, Pilsen, Brighton Park, Back of the Yards, McKinley Park, Archer Heights, and Chicago Lawn as well as suburban Cicero and Berwyn. The support of BMO Harris will provide ASLF and Saint Anthony Hospital the ability to expand awareness, breast health education and access to mammography and diagnostic testing to inhabitants of the identified communities.
