Chicago Public Schools (CPS) announced that the June meeting of the Chicago Board of Education will be held at Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy High School instead of its usual location at CPS Headquarters in the Loop. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 4:30 PM.

The Board of Education’s monthly meetings are typically held in the Board Chambers at CPS Headquarters, which is located at 42 W. Madison St. The meeting at Brooks will be the second off-site monthly Board meeting in recent months. Brooks College Prep is located at 250 E. 111th St., Chicago, IL 60628. Registration for public participation and observation will be done in accordance with the Board’s standard process and will open on Monday, June 15, at 8:00 AM through the Board of Education’s website at www.cpsboe.org.
