Alderman Joe Moore will host a special screening of Spike Lee’s new movie “Chi-Raq,” followed by a community discussion of the issues raised in the film, including violence in Chicago and the Roger Park neighborhood. The event will take place Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 7pm at the New 400 Theater, 6746 N. Sheridan (at Colombia). Tickets are $20. The cost includes a free popcorn and soft drink. The screening is open to the general public. The 400 Theater is one of only 300 theaters out of 40,000 screens nationwide that have been selected for the opening of “Chi-Raq.”
