Women’s Energy Summit Donates to Girl Scouts to Spark New STEM Program

The Women’s Energy Summit (WES) presented a check for $5,000 to the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana on September 20th to help fund a new program focused on educating and encouraging young girls in STEM. The presentation took place at the annual Women’s Energy Summit, and event focused on confronting the gender gap in the energy industry. More than 200 energy professionals from across the nation attended the event and several energy leaders and executives provided remarks and participated on panels. The event took place at JW Marriot Chicago.
