On Thursday, April 20, Morton College and its acclaimed theater, the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, will host a VIP viewing party for its newest production: Gypsy. A rendition of the Broadway classic, Gypsy, is loosely based on the memoirs of a famous striptease artist and her mother – the ultimate “show business mom.” Twists and turns ensue in what is considered one of the greatest American musicals – backed by signature songs such as “Everything’s Coming up Roses.” In addition to a private viewing of the show, guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails throughout the evening. The event begins at 7 p.m., and the theater is located at 3801 S. Central Ave., Cicero, IL.
