For 70 years, 25,000 children and families throughout Cook and Lake Counties experience the joy, magic, and spirit of the holidays through the Catholic Charities Celebration of Giving toy drive. The agency counts on the public and businesses to donate toys to ensure that every child has something to open on Christmas morning and their Christmas wishes come true. Toy donations are now being accepted through December 13 with eight drop off locations in Cook and Lake Counties. In addition, toys can be ordered from Amazon and shipped directly to the agency’s “Santa’s Workshop.” To link directly to the Catholic Charities Amazon Wish List, visit catholiccharities.net/celebration.
