Every day Gabriela Rodil, an Oakbrook Terrace-based business consultant and author, works with small and midsize companies to create their own successful futures. Rodil now wants to make personal and positive connections with audiences in her new added role as a motivational speaker. Always expanding her horizons, Rodil realized her calling and decided 2018 was the year to take the plunge. What helped her in her decision was her involvement in small speaking engagements and her mentorship for women in the corporate world and for young Latinas through the nonprofit Fig Factor Foundation.  As a speaker, Rodil candidly shares her wisdom and expertise to corporate groups as well as women’s and minority organizations.

Topics include reflecting on life lessons, finding ways to overcome adversity, embracing diversity and encouraging people to develop the best versions of themselves. She recently spoke at a Wintrust Bank event about facing fears. One of those fears she personally faced was going through a painful divorce while abroad that left her financially devastated. It was that moment she had to find solutions.  This year Rodil will travel to Mexico, France and The Netherlands inspiring women of all ages to become strong and decisive business leaders.
