For the first time, Moraine Valley Community College is offering a four-week online winter session starting Monday, Dec. 16. Students can complete accelerated online classes in this shorter session, which is formally part of the spring semester. Moraine Valley offers classes for students who want to transfer to four-year colleges or universities by earning associate degrees in Applied Science, Arts, Fine Arts, Science, Engineering or General Studies. Students also can choose from several certificate career programs offered at the college, including Allied Health and Nursing, Business and Computer Sciences, Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology and Public Service.
