BMO Harris Bank hosted a reception to thank CPS Lives participants who transformed the temporary plywood that covered BMO’s main Chicago branch during protests last month into permanent artwork that communicates unity and hope. The mural represents the opportunity Chicagoans have to create a more inclusive and just community, together. CPS Lives is the first of several non-profits that will rotate art into BMO’s main branch windows over the coming months as a visual reminder to continue our progress toward a more inclusive society. After School Matters will display a mural next. The rotating art display is called “Calling for Change.”  After several weeks at BMO’s downtown branch, the mural will move to a location to be determined in Chicago’s neighborhoods.  Titled “If I Could Show the World,” the mural features students from 20+ Chicago Public Schools. The title is from a written piece by one of the students shown in the mural.
