The International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC), producer of the Chicago Latino Film Festival (CLFF), is proud to announce that New York-based graphic designer and marketing manager Natalia Osorio Quintero is the winner of their annual poster competition. Presented by Corona Extra and featuring close to 100 short and feature length films from Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal and the United States, the 37th Chicago Latino Film Festival this year will be presented online and will feature two special Drive-In screenings in accordance with state and city health regulations. The Festival will run April 8-18. The full program, including the Drive-In screenings, will be announced in March. Three raised fists, representing Ibero-America’s racial diversity, each grasping a different film or digital camera, are the centerpiece of the winning design. “This poster is inspired by the resilience and strength of the Latino people. Latinos have experienced the struggle for their rights and for being recognized as a diverse culture, rich in customs, race, and talent. For this reason, the fist symbolizes the courage we have to achieve our goals and the unity of the races because all lives are worth it, said Natalia Osorio. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize.
