The Field Museum will recognize Latinx Heritage Month with a variety of programs celebrating the culture and honoring contributions to science.  The month is celebrated September 15 – October 15. “Now in its third year, we’re excited that celebrating Latinx Heritage Month has become a Field Museum tradition,” says Vicky Sanchez, the Museum’s Annual Fund and Membership Director and one of the organizers of Latinx Heritage Month events. “We think it’s important to highlight our scientists’ and scholars’ work with Latinx communities and celebrate our culture.” A full calendar of in-person and digital programming is available on the museum’s website, www.fieldmuseum.org.
