City of Chicago appointed Sam Kukadia to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA). Kukadia, a distinguished CEO and Local 150 Operator, brings a wealth of experience in heavy highway engineering and construction, coupled with a commitment to community service and economic development. In his role as CEO of Material Solutions Laboratory, Kukadia has demonstrated exceptional leadership, overseeing a heavy highway engineering and construction firm with over thirty operating engineers. His extensive background as a Project Engineer at CEMCON and Project Design Engineer at the Illinois Department of Transportation reflects his deep expertise in industrial, commercial, and residential development. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kukadia has been an active member of the Local 150 Union and serves as a board member for several nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Kukadia has served in various leadership roles, including Treasurer for the Indo-American Democratic Organization Chicago, Executive Board Member for the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Chicago, and Treasurer for the South Asian Chamber of Commerce Chicago.
