South Side Healthy Community Organization Recruiting for Community Advisory Council

The South Side Healthy Community Organization (SSHCO) is recruiting for the next term of its Community Advisory Council (CAC), a volunteer group charged with sharing ideas and input and providing advice on priority health issues and outreach initiatives on Chicago’s South Side. The SSHCO is seeking diverse candidates who reflect various demographics from the South Side, like ethnicity, race, LGBTQ+, and geography, in addition to various constituencies like faith and community organizations, health care, social services, business, and the general community. The CAC selection committee will review all applicants and narrow down the candidates to recommend to the SSHCO Board, which will provide the final approval for the two-year term CAC from 2024-2026.
