ComEd’s Energy Force Ambassadors Looking for the Next Wave of Ambassadors

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Business

ComEd’s Energy Force Ambassadors (EFA) are looking forward to kicking off the summer by attending some of Chicago’s neighborhood events. The EFA Program, a job training program for adults with developmental disabilities, empowers participants to spread awareness about ComEd’s energy efficiency programs. Ambassadors also help educate customers on ways to save on their utility bills by adopting energy-saving practices. Through the EFA Program, ambassadors have interacted with 50,000 to 70,000 customers each year and in 2023, the program had a total of 30 ambassadors. This is the highest number of enrolled participants the program has had. Those interested in applying to become an ambassador in fall 2024 should visit www.comed.com/energyforceambassador. You can also join the ambassadors at the Casa Central Community Health Fair on June 27, 2024.
