Mayor Brandon Johnson and the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) announced the full food vendor and music lineup for this year’s downtown edition of Taste of Chicago, September 6 – 8. Taking place in its iconic Grant Park home, the beloved Chicago tradition will once again spotlight the impressive variety and talent of the city’s culinary scene, set against the backdrop of Buckingham Fountain. Alongside 40 food vendors and more than a dozen food truck offerings, guests can enjoy free performances by some of music’s most well-known names, with headliners including GRAMMY®-winning singer, songwriter and rapper CeeLo Green, celebrated regional Mexican music trio Yahritza y Su Esencia and Australian alternative rock group Atlas Genius on the Taste Main Stage. Following a successful Taste of Chicago event in Rogers Park this June, DCASE also presents Taste of Chicago neighborhood events in Pullman Park (11101 S. Cottage Grove Ave) on Saturday, August 17 from 12 – 8 p.m. leading up to Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. Full vendor and entertainment lineups at TasteofChicago.us. As always, admission to Taste of Chicago is free. For more information, visit TasteofChicago.us, and follow on Facebook and X and Instagram.
