The lucky player matched all five numbers in the Sunday evening drawing to score the $1 million jackpot prize. The winning numbers were: 2-3-24-25-28. This is the ninth Illinois Lottery player this year to win $1 million dollars or more with Lucky Day Lotto. This is also a big win for the retailer that sold the winning ticket, as the store will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount. For the Jewel-Osco in Elmhurst, that means a bonus of $10,000. More than 31,000 winning tickets were sold to Illinois Lottery players for the Sunday, October 20 evening drawing. Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize.
