Navy Pier announced plans for its inaugural Shamrockin’ at the Pier – the ultimate, climate-controlled, St. Patrick’s-themed pub crawl through six of the Pier’s most popular restaurant-bars and a docked cruise ship. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, each designated stop will roll out the green carpet for revelers with exclusive drink specials, live music, themed games, and more. Participating Pier partners include Chef Art Smith’s Reunion, Harry Caray’s Tavern, Margaritaville, Billy Goat Tavern, Bar Sol Mariscos, Offshore Rooftop, and City Cruises’ Spirit of Navy Pier. Free transportation to Shamrockin’ at the Pier from downtown will be provided by Shoreline Sightseeing water taxi and Big Bus Chicago. Event tickets, priced at $30 through March 7, include live entertainment at each venue, branded Shamrockin’ at the Pier T-shirt and drawstring bag (while supplies last), themed wristband, beaded necklace, access to specials on drinks at each location, and coupons for discounts at participating Pier retailers, restaurants, and experiences. Tickets are limited and available for purchase at Shamrockin’ at the Pier. The ticket price will go up to $40 on March 8th.
