Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon reaffirmed her commitment to expanding equal access to the ballot, announcing the opening of two new locations as the Clerk’s Office kicks off Early Voting for the April 1 Consolidated Election in suburban Cook County. The Clerk’s Office has opened two new locations at Universal School in Bridgeview, and the Lyons Township Office in Countryside, bringing the total number of Early Voting locations to 55 across suburban Cook County. The openings are part of Clerk Gordon’s ongoing effort to make voting more accessible, convenient, and secure for all eligible voters. Suburban voters can cast their ballot at any of the 55 Early Voting locations regardless of where they live throughout the Early Voting period, which kicked off March 17 and runs through March 31. The new Early Voting location at Universal School will in Bridgeview will serve the area’s growing Arab American and Muslim community to help ensure representation in the electoral process. Meanwhile, the Countryside site improves access for voters in the southwest suburbs. For more information on Early Voting locations, hours, and voter registration, visit cookcountyclerk.com/EV.
