El Pueblo Manda is a group primarily of homeowners. We are opposed to the terrible increases in property taxes in our neighborhood.   Right now, there is increasing uncertainty about deportation, especially for immigrants—documented and undocumented.  We have invited an estate planning attorney to discuss ways of protecting property through wills and trusts. We will also have an immigration attorney to answer specific questions about how immigration status is related to property status. We encourage everyone, particularly undocumented homeowners who need to protect their properties against worst-case scenarios to attend. The event will be held in Spanish.
