Illinois Legislative leaders are set to attend the four-stop ‘For the People’ Bus Tour in Illinois on Sunday, April 27 to connect with residents on upcoming financial cuts enacted by the Trump-Vance administration. The proposed federal budget threatens Illinoisians. Millions across our state utilize essential programs for healthcare access, mental health services, affordable housing, school resources and funding to local infrastructure. Illinois state senators come together ‘For the People’ Bus Tour to discuss the state budget to prevent cuts to essential programs and provide relief to working-class families across our state as pressure mounts to pass a budget by May 31st, 2025.
