Two-Time Liga MX Soccer Champions, Atlas FC, Hosts Multi-Day Community-Wide Celebrations across Chicago Events are coordinated and sponsored by Orlegi Sports, Corazón Latino, Alderperson Michael D. Rodriguez, Colores Mexicanos, Beyond the Ball, and community leaders and local organizations. Leading up to the famed soccer match, the “Clásico Tapatío,” at SeatGeek Stadium on June 18, Orlegi Sports, Corazón Latino, and partners will host a series of community celebrations in Chicago with support from local organizations and community leaders. Events will include personal meet and greet business networking events and a community celebration at ‘La Villita,’ the Mexican enclave of the Midwest (It will be the first time a Mexican national team visits that neighborhood). The organizations aim to foster unity and promote healthy, positive lifestyles centered around the passion for sports and nature in Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the nation.

Events in Chicago June 16th through 18th:

Back 2 Back Trophy Tour
What: Orlegi Sports will kick off Atlas FC’s “BACK 2 BACK Trophy Tour” in “Colores Mexicanos” from 12 PM – 6 PM to bring their fans closer to the action and allow them to take an official picture with the trophies. Both the Apertura 2021 and Clausura 2022 trophies will be on display.
When: June 17, 2022, from 2 PM to 6 PM

A Night of Fashion
What: Friday will be dedicated to a night of lifestyle and entertainment. Orlegi Sports has partnered with “Saturday Football” to create a new line of everyday wear, designed explicitly for the “Aficionado” in all of us. A panel with Atlas FC players will take place from 6-7 PM at “Colores Mexicanos.”
When: June 17, 2022 @ 6 PM

A Celebration in La Villita
What: Saturday, Orlegi Sports has partnered with Corazón Latino, Beyond the Ball, and the Office of Alderperson Michael D. Rodriguez to host “A celebration in La Villita.” This event will celebrate the community, bringing together families from diverse backgrounds to enjoy music, physical activities, and learn about community servicesThe two-time championship team members, Atlas FC players, will be in attendance.
When: June 18 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: Gary Elementary School (3740 W. 31st Street)
