Citi is opening its first new Chicago branch in more than a decade at 2503 W Cermak Road., Pilsen neighborhood. The state-of-the-art 2,536-square-foot space will offer Citi’s full array of services, with flexible seating and an open floor concept that encourages the community to engage with the bank through events, educational outreach, and more. This branch opening reflects Citibank’s deep connection and continued support of the greater Chicago community. Over the past five years, the Citi Foundation has granted nearly $14M to 17 visionary community organizations working across Greater Chicago to connect low-income communities to greater economic opportunity. Citi volunteers also dedicate their time and expertise year-round to support underserved communities across Greater Chicago, from financial education workshops to neighborhood beautification projects to packing over 13,000 meals as a part of this Citi’s annual Global Community Day campaign. Most recently, the Citi Foundation announced the recipients of its fourth cohort of the Community Progress Makers initiative, committing $6 million over three years (2024-2026) to six nonprofits in Greater Chicago. The branch will open in late fall (2024).
