State Rep. La Shawn K. Ford, D-Chicago, is inviting the community to a Black Friday Wealth Symposium – a free, one day event that will feature expert speakers on budgeting, credit, real estate, estate planning, wealth resources and more on Friday Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, located at 4701 S. Martin Luther King Dr. in Chicago. The educational event will also feature entertainment from celebrated hip-hop artist, DJ and entrepreneur MC Lyte. Ford is collaborating with the Building Dreams Foundation and the Health and Wellness Experience to organize the symposium which will feature in-depth panels, workshops, networking opportunities and a vendor expo featuring local businesses and resources.
