TAILS Humane Society announced they are joining forces with Animal Care League, the Animal Welfare League, Anderson Animal Shelter, PAWS Chicago, and 4 Paws 4 Ever to hold a 36-hr Mega Adopt-a-Thon sponsored by the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and PetSmart Charities. The event will be held from 8am Saturday, March 31st to 8pm Sunday, April 1st in the parking lot of the Lincoln Park PetSmart store, 2665 Elston Ave. Over 300 dogs and cats of all ages and descriptions will be available for adoption from the participating animal rescue organizations.
