Residential and arterial street sweeping began in April and will continue throughout Chicago until the end of November of 2012. Alderman Edward M. Burke (14th) is reminding area residents to carefully check for posted signs while parking so as to avoid receiving a ticket from the Chicago Department of Revenue for failure to remove vehicles during street cleaning.

The street sweeping program in the 14th Ward is being conducted under the direction of Ward Superintendent John Ramirez. Residents should feel free to contact the 14th Ward Community Service Office at 773-471-1414 if they have any questions concerning the program
