Every April, Mujeres Latinas en Accion’s Sexual Assault Program holds The Vagina Monologues as a fundraiser to provide therapy and advocacy for survivors of abuse. The Vagina Monologues is performed by community members, including Maria Pesqueria, Mujeres’ president and CEO. This year, Mujeres is proud to host shows in both English and Spanish at The National Museum of Mexican Art, 1852 W. 19th Street. The English show will take place Friday, April 18th at 7p.m., and the Spanish show will take place Friday, April 25th at 7p.m. Tickets are $15 online and at the door.
