Students from Cicero’s Corazon Community Services organization visited Springfield on April 2 and met with State Senator Steven Landek (D-Bridgeview). The students are participants in Corazon’s Teen REACH Program, Fuerza Program and the Stay in School Initiative.
“Investing in our youth is important to our area’s future,” Landek said. “Corazon is a valuable organization in Cicero doing some great work. I was honored to have the opportunity to meet some of the youth they reach.” Corazon Community Services has three locations, but their main office is located at 5116 W. 14th St. in Cicero. More information about the services they provide can be found on their website at corazoncs.org.
