Youth Crossroads Inc. has won a complete IKEA makeover including products and design expertise. This is the fourth year of the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge; a program in which IKEA’s U.S. customers and co-workers vote on a charity to win a complete makeover. “We are so excited to have won this makeover. Redesigning our office space will significantly improve staff morale, enhance our professional environment, and create a friendlier, therapeutic atmosphere for our young clients,” says Teri Terrazino, Resource Development Manager at Youth Crossroads.
IKEA co-workers throughout the country at 38 stores and two service offices nominated local non-profit organizations to receive an IKEA makeover of a space that helps to improve the lives of others. Over 100 inspiring nominations from IKEA co-workers were received. This is the fourth year for the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge. Over the course of this time, over 100 local non-profits organizations have won IKEA makeovers. For more information on YC services call 708-484-7400 or visit their website at www.youthcrossroads.org.
