NASCAR XFINITY Series Rookie of the Year candidate Daniel Suárez met with some of his youngest fans on Monday when he visited Thomas Jefferson Elementary in Joliet. The young students greeted Suárez with exuberant chants and received a sweet surprise from the driver. Suárez and Chicagoland Speedway provided nearly 500 race tickets to each student and their parent to take in Suárez’s XFINITY Series Race on Father’s Day weekend on June 20th. Suárez played teacher assisting fourth and fifth graders with questions in their NASCAR Acceleration Nation notebooks. The notebooks are a part of an in-school Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) program, created together with Scholastic, and helped prepare the students for what they will see when attending their first race to watch Suárez compete. Tickets for the XFINITIY Series Race at Chicagoland Speedway start at just $30 for adults and $5 for kids, while Fan Zone Pit Passes are just $25. Tickets can be purchased now at ChicagolandSpeedway.com, by calling 888-629-RACE.
