This week marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month and Jewel-Osco will host their eighth annual “Sabor de la Herencia Hispana.” The event was created to celebrate and give back to the Chicago area Latino community. The program kicks off with a signature in-store customer appreciation event from 4p.m. to 8p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 17th and appearance by former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver Ahmad Merritt. Along with the signature in-store reception on Sept. 17th, Jewel-Osco stores will be hosting additional events that promise just as much food, fun, and savings:
