Sinai Health System welcomed United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Julian Castro, for a visit Monday afternoon, November 2, 2015. In his brief but pointed address during a community dialog session, Castro described the interrelatedness of health, housing and neighborhoods and pledged his agency’s support of all three. Castro also reinforced the importance of the ACA-related health insurance enrollment period which opened November 1. Sinai community Institute navigators and surpassed those in other Illinois organizations in enrolling community members in affordable, quality health insurance plans.
