It is an important holiday that reflects the culture and diversity that Mexican Americans have brought to this great country. We’re proud of all of the ethnic groups that live in the Town of Cicero and are especially proud of how Mexican Americans continue to engage this country and support it. Many Mexican Americans have served in our armed forces to defend this country and continue to serve. And many more are successful business people and taxpayers who recognize the importance of the freedoms we have in this country. The Town of Cicero offers many programs to citizens and non-citizens of all ethnic groups but we are especially proud to work closely with Mexican American community leaders to make our community safe and one of the best in America.”
