C-Strategies LLC, a Chicago-based strategic communications and public affairs firm, announced the hiring of Allison Ordman as Communications Director. She will focus on client messaging and campaign strategy as well as media relations, with an emphasis on clients in the public policy and education space. Prior to joining C-Strategies, Ordman handled press duties in Iowa on the Hillary Clinton campaign. She served as senior staff on Democratic campaigns for Iowa’s 1st Congressional District (2015) and Iowa Governor (2013) and brings years of campaign management, operations and advance experience to her role at C-Strategies. “Allison brings a deep depth of knowledge and experience on issues and policies that will allow us to further expand both our public policy and issue advocacy client base. Ordman joins Carroll and Vice President Mika Stambaugh as part of the C-Strategies leadership team.
Carroll is a two-decade veteran of high-profile political and public policy campaigns. She led public engagement and communications strategies to develop and promote bold, new initiatives on education, economic development, housing, pensions, and budget and finance issues. Stambaugh is a veteran, Emmy award-winning journalist and entrepreneur known for her creative strategies in executing media and communications campaigns. Throughout her career, she’s been recognized for her creativity, hustle and leadership, including winning an Emmy in 2008 as a Field Producer at CBS 2 News Chicago.
