As the upcoming school year quickly approaches and you start on your back-to-school plans, make sure your kids are up-to-date on their required vaccinations. Use the hashtag #VaxToSchool on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to encourage others to do the same. The immunization requirements for the 2019-2020 school year are the same as last year. The requirements can be found on the IDPH website under immunizations. It is important to remember that students who are not vaccinated and do not have proof of immunity will be excluded from school if there is a disease outbreak.
