Marquette Bank served as one of this year’s flagship sponsors for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which took place at Centennial Park in Orland Park. The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event occurs every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and helps to raise money for breast cancer research. This year over 70 Marquette Bank employees, family and friends supported the event by walking or volunteering. Marquette Bank employees helped contribute over $14,000 to the American Cancer Society through the breast cancer walk sponsorship and the annual employee PINKnic that was held in August.
