Mujeres Latinas en Acción invites you to the Maria Mangual Leadership Conference, La Mujer Despierta on Friday, Oct. 28 from 8am to 5pm at the Blackstone Chicago Hotel, 636 S. Michigan Ave. La Mujer Despierta: Honoring Our Past, Investing in our Future, will engage young, mid-career, and grassroots Latinas in leadership training to build a powerful, intergenerational network. The conference will feature financial expert Julie Stav, sponsored by State Farm, Insights on the Latina Consumer, sponsored by Nielsen and Executive Coach Marlene Gonzalez. The Maria Mangual Leadership Award will be presented to U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky. Ticket price is $50.
