The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust is hosting two free events to celebrate the holidays: Wright in the City Holiday Open House at The Rookery Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Family Fun Days at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio Saturday, Dec. 10 and 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wright in the City Holiday Open House is at The Rookery (209 S. LaSalle St., Chicago) and features free Champagne and sweets, tours of the Wright-designed lobby, live music and shopping discounts on Wright-inspired furniture, accessories, jewelry and home decor products. Family Fun Days at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio (951 Chicago Ave. Oak Park, IL) features Victorian Christmas Tours of the remarkable Frank Lloyd Wright Home.
