Late last year Chevrolet introduced its best-selling truck with updated features equipping the legendary model with a plethora of technological choices for customers to enjoy.

Early this year, I was rescued from the slippery roads and blustering cold winds of February with the help of the Silverado 1500 LTD LT Trailboss, a high-performance vehicle with all the grade A amenities sure to make any daily task, no matter the season, thoroughly enjoyable. When I was initially contacted to test drive the new model, I didn’t know what to expect, most of my years were spent behind the wheels of sedans, however upon viewing the red-hot Silverado approach my driveway I knew I was in fun ride. For a week, I took the Silverado to all parts of Chicago from Wrigleyville to Museum Campus, Humboldt Park to Park Ridge, making the frosty temperatures heat up I careened down Lake Shore Drive. The robust enhancements, including the improvements on the power train allowed for a smoother and more powerful ride making hauling items effortless.

Additional highlights to the new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado include:

• A 2” Factory Suspension Lift with the Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes off-road suspension with 2-inches of increased ground clearance, monotube socks, underbody skid plates and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires.

• The available Rear Camera Mirror8 and Head-Up Display take the total to four technologically advanced screens, each helping provide an engaging and comprehensive driving experience.
